Graduations

We had a couple of graduation programs last week in the Blankenagel house.  Jamie had her pre-school program and Caitin graduated from Kindergarten.  Both of these girls have done extremely well in school; highest compliments from both teachers.  We are two proud parents!

This is Jamie's buddy, Maygen.  She gave Jamie the "Most Adorable Smile" award because Jamie would always tilt her head and give Maygen the best smiles.

This is Jamie's other buddy, Rubi.  She gave Jamie the "Little Miss Sunshine" award because Jamie always brightened Rubi's day when she saw her.  My house now sparkles everywhere (note the abudance of glitter used).

Here is Jamie's class, the high school buddies, and teacher, Mrs. Guthrie

Here is Caitin with her Kindergarten diploma.  She has really excelled in her drawing and labeling of pictures.  Mrs. Hester uses her school work often for an example to the rest of the class.

This is her class at the Graduation program.  They sang us some fun songs and did a dance called "Jump Jim Joe."  This dance taught them to be partners with different people and how to find a new partner quickly.

Seaworld Adventure

We went to Florida last month for my Grandpa's funeral and had a chance to go to Sea World.  Here are just a few pictures from that trip.  We were too excited and busy to remember to take many pictures. The first thing we did was check out the Shamu show.  Here are the girls decked out in their rain ponchos...ya know, just in case.  I think the fact that we sat in front of the cameras saved us from being splashed.  Seriously, not a drop of water hit us.

Here are Jamie and Caitin in the mouth of a shark.  Caitin loved the shark exhibit which meant we got to go through it both days.

This trainer told the girls about what they needed to do to become a Killer Whale trainer at Sea World.  After seeing Shamu, both girls wanted to be a trainer when they grew up.  She was also in the Dolphin/bird show as one of the leading roles, along with her parrot.

Here is our family picture for this year (we're not sending out postcards).  The bushes here are incredible!
