After church today, Caitin did her own hair. It started as a simple ponytail, but as she and Jamie commenced to play dress-up it gained some pizzaz!

Paint
Sarah's been busy lately. We're on the final stretch with the basement, which means it's all in her court. Which means I get bossed around even more than normal. It works good for us.
The main room is colored "Navajo White" - by the way, in Spokane we spell that Navaho. At least according to our Streets Department.
And in the spare bedroom we painted it "Navajo White".
Which, if you didn't notice, is actually the same color. Funny what lighting does!

Decorating
We've been doing a little bit of decoration changes within the Spokenagel house:
For Valentines I went out on a limb and ordered this picture print for Sarah. It's the girls running across an old railroad bridge that I helped to design into a paved trail. It was such a great idea that Sarah adopted it as a gift to both of us! Isn't she wonderful to get this for me?
Of course, that displaced our family pictures, and as it turns out, they look better on a different wall anyway. It's fun to have a different look to the house.
Sarah found these shoes in the store, and fell in love with them, but they didn't have the right size. Bonus for me, I was able to order them for her birthday.

Presenting a Puzzle
The girls and I worked out some time to do a home-made birthday present for Sarah. My favorite part was the puzzling way it came together for her. She had no idea.
What.
Is.
This?
A dowel, a roll of string...one more hint: it requires a tail!
Ohhhhh!
The shapes were all kiddo originals. They drew and cut them. Bows, letters, stars, butterflies, hearts, and kitty faces. It may be generally noted that Sarah is a fan of the colors purple and grey. Note that she subconsciously matched her outfit to her present.
Now, if we could get a little wind to try it out!
